Hello!

Well, it's cold tonight, but no precipitation and we've actually had two entire days of sunshine which is almost too much to believe! Maybe spring will finally make a late arrival towards the end of the month...I'm sure folks across the nation are dreaming of spring this dark cold night.

The cold and ice have taken a toll on my husband's family as well as mine. Bill's mom fell and broke her hip several weeks ago. She is in a rehabilitation center after surgery.

My mom uses a walker, but has a tendency to fall backwards...and she did friday breaking a vertebra in her mid back. Shes miserable but fiesty, which is good. She started to complain about the food, which is an excellent sign. She goes to surgery to have the crack in the vertebra sealed, hopefully giving some pain relief.

Frax yodeled at Mom, which made her laugh, and he had her in a happier mood after he lay next to her and kissed her soundly on the face and hands. Bill asked me on the drive home "Did you hear what your mom said to Frax?" "No, what?" He said she stared at Frax intently and whispered "You've got a substantial nose on you, don't you?" The better to sniff with! lol.

Later...

LV, FX & JT
