Hello!
Much of the country is still in the icy grip of winter, who is persistantly hanging on this year. There are signs though that spring will not be denied. In Ky the flooding is serious, all that snow now melting and needing to go somewhere. As the snows start to melt, expect to hear more reports of regional and localized flooding.
In these parts the temperature is in the sixties, which is very comfortable, however that comes with rain each day this week...erk! Frax hates it when it pelts on his noggin-head!
I let Frax out for his after dinner saunter in the backyard and was amazed to see a little gray squirrel...the brave fellow has evaded the clutches of the local Barred Owls that put a vacuum cleaner to shame, eating anything and everythin

g in our area. As I watched Frax scampering around, lo and behold, just past the deck was a nice fat blue bird! It was gorgeous! I called Bill over to admire it and we both ooohed and aaahed. Then Frax noticed the bluebird and chased him away! It's so difficult to attract bluebirds to your yard, I'm pleased to see the bird, and hope there are more like him coming!
Take care, Later!
