A Long Tail

Hello!

Hubby Bill caught this photo of Frax 'protecting' me while I showered! Have I mentioned Frax is long and tall? lol

Way after I was safely out of the handicap shower, the shower head fell out of it's holder and made a huge clatter. Frax lept to his feet, opened the sliding pocket door and went to alert Bill! This was despite me calling him off...he hates water, and the shower~ he was more than ready to get out of there. In his canine mind the bathroom is a dangerous place, nothing and no-one can tell him otherwise. >sigh<

This is but one example of a service dog using his thought processes to go seek help. I praised him wonderfully when he returned. In another senario something dropping in the shower could be a real emergency, one that I won't discourage him from!

And that's our 'tail' for today! Woof!
