Hello!

Lying next to me as I type to you tonight is darling Frax. He wants nothing more than to be right next to me. As always, a big paw rests upon my shoulder, even in his sleep, there must be a connection between both of us.

We went for a routine MD visit this week, and the staff and Frax were mutually charmed with one another! It's amazing how one beautiful dog being can make another's day.

I knew my new MD from working with him years ago. Had I not, I would have known all would be alright since as soon as he greets my husband and I, he then gently gives Frax's chin a wonderful rub, then scrunches Frax's long silken ears....Frax thinks he is just the best!

I feel sorry for those who've never known the unconditional love and devotion of a dog. They are missing out on a special part of life.

The Life of a Dog by Ann Landers! If you can start the day without caffeine, If you can get going without pep pills, If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles, If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it, If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time, If you can overlook it when something goes wrong through no fault of yours and those you love take it out on you, If you can take criticism and blame without resentment, If you can ignore a friend’s limited education and never correct him, If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend, If you can face the world without lies and deceit, If you can conquer tension without medical help, If you can relax without liquor, If you can sleep without the aid of drugs, If you can say honestly that deep in your heart you have no prejudice against creed, color, religion, or politics, Then you are almost as good as your dog.

Later....
