Several weeks ago folks were talking about scientists building a computer for pets. Do we really need to go there? People might not like to know exactly what their pet is thinking~ especially if it's a cat!
From personal experience I can share with you that neither Jet or Frax is over the moon about me using the computer. They both feel/felt that my time would be better employed with them! They are likely correct on that 95% of the time, and yet it does serve its purposes. I've shared this with Frax, who doesn't care one whit.
So without ado the top reasons our pups are not into computers:
They can't stick their heads out of Window's 7
Hard to read the monitor with your head cocked to one side
Too difficult to 'mark' every website they visit
Keep bruising nose trying to catch that animated Frisbee
Not fooled by the cat screen saver
Fire hydrant icon a source of constant frustration
Haven't found an 'emotion' that signifies tail-wagging
Butt-sniffing is more direct, less deceiving than online chat room
Dogs aren't geeks (cats however...!)
Fetch command not available on all platforms
Can't help licking the screen when they hear “You've Got Mail”
Barking in the next cube keeps activating YOUR voice recognition software
SmellU-SmellMe still in beta test
Saliva-coated mouse too difficult to maneuver
Hard to type with paws
Three words: Carpal Paw Syndrome
Microsoft opposable thumb not user-friendly
Can't use thumb-drive
Fur gets stuck in-between keys
Takes valuable time away from playing ball!
