Frax's New Toy!

Hello!
Believe it or not, I've finally found a 'toy' that Frax can totally engage in and not tear up within ten minutes. It's a sterilized jumbo bovine bone, stuffed with something Frax thinks is totally wonderful, but that smells...mmmm....not good to the human nostrils. Since smelling Frax's toys isn't a habit of mine, I have been glad to find something he really likes, but won't fall apart ten minutes afterward!
The big draw seems he couldn't destroy it. Now the stuffing is a huge draw now...and apparently the stuff is difficult to remove~ even with enthusiastic licking! One drawback...several hours later my canine has enormous clouds of green sewer gas! Just so that you know...it comes with some drawbacks.
I felt safe in that this is a sterilized bone, and I am monitoring him for the time he spends playing with it. There are concerns re: micro-cracks in teeth from chewing bones, but in our family's limited experience, with monitoring, and a sterilized bone no tooth issues have happened. To the contrary, Frax's teeth have never been so shiny and white, and his gum health is superior!
He also has another big bovine white sterilized bone. He likes it and will lick it for hours! Occasionally it gets a 'recharge' with peanut butter inside. That's always a winner.
The other day I found him asleep, his big paw protectively over his original bone.
He's a big guy, fluffy animal toys are a blast, but are under destruction in under fifteen minutes. He's a tough rough toy fellow. Plain and simple.
I wouldn't have him any other way, the big lug! :)
Later,

PS~ I have video of Frax at play, but this format will not allow a simple download, so that will have to wait for another day. Sorry!
