Don't You Just Love 'Paws'abilities?

Wow!
The first of August! Can you just imagine! I can't! Frax and I awoke to the most gorgeous day! Years ago, I was such a morning sleeper...exaustion, mental and physical from my nursing job. Since I've had issues with pain in my legs and arms, I awaken no later than eight-thirty...normal for most folks!
Ah, but the humidity is in the 60's and yes, yes I can feel a hint of Fall in the offing, despite the summer mellow temperatures! I let Frax out and watched the dancing sunlight through the back yard, the light skipping through the mature leaves of hickory and oaks. There is a parting of the limbs and the sunlight beams onto my head as Frax scampers about his kingdom! I hold the sliding door and the side of the house, my legs strong enough to launch me tippy-toes without falling on my nose! I close my eyes and let the sunbeam dance over me full-on with a huge smile breaking across my face, upturned to the sunlight. My eyes closed, I let the early morning warm wash across my face. Breathing a prayer of thanksgiving, never could I have imagined this wonderful morning eighteen months ago when I was in the grip of whatever monster had taken over my gut and my life! Frax scampers to me, eager for breakfast as always, it's the food, man!
After a sloppy morning of dog chow and water (he likes the soup it makes!) Then more sloppy kisses as appreciation for a breakfast consistently good...who says I can't cook?!...We snuggle in next to Bill who is peacefully sleeping through all this, after a long week of work from home for his national company. Frax puts a lovely big paw on my waist and drifts off for his traditional morning nap. I grab the 'blue light special' and immediately write to you the joy of the day! Ain't life grand?
I wonder what life holds for us today? It could only be wonderful, it's so beautiful now, my two best guys next to me, and sunlight dancing through the house! I'll get back to you in a bit to share our wonderful Saturday!
Later...
