Hello!

Here is a wonderful story for a sad day in our nation's history. Bretagne, the last known surviving search and rescue dog from 9-11 was treated to a hero’s welcome recently in NYC at ground zero where she faced her first deployment. She also celebrated her sixteenth birthday while she was there! God bless her fuzzy little heart.

She and her handler were dispatched by FEMA to look for survivors, and later for victims during that dark time. It's good to hear that Bretagne was honored properly. It's obvious she has lived a wonderful life with her handler~ sixteen years! Amazing.
