WHEN DOG KIBBLE LOOKS GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT...

Hello!
Obviously being silly, but Frax's kibble and MBDB's (Milk Bone Dog Biscuits) are looking rather tasty these days. Eating healthy is not all its knocked up to be...I feel fairly sure that God meant people to eat (occasionally) a Hershey bar~ why else would man know how to make one? Frax agrees...if there weren't bones...well, where would we be?
I wasn't very much up for eating today, since it was yet another day at the dentist (don't ask!). Frax was there as always in the room for support, except he had just eaten and he fell into a canine-coma in the corner of the dentist's room! Thanks for the support, Big Dog! Lol.
After another morning having my teeth made good for biting, I wasn't really in the mood very much for doing so. I whipped up one of the nasty smoothies and choked it down. It's pretty bad when the fish oil

tastes better than the smoothie! I do wonder if the blender isn't great, since it doesn't seem to 'blend' the more solid components...ie. Blueberries. I may energize the food processor. That will pulverize anything.
Way before either Jet or Frax were a gleam in Canine Assistant's eyes, our first dog, Hannah had a litter of the sweetest Dalmatian puppies! When it became time to feed them puppy chow, we pulverized warm puppy chow very nicely in the food processor. It pretty much looked the same going in and coming out, but that’s TMI! I've had warm fuzzy feelings for the food processor ever since! It took a very long time to get it 'human consumption' clean again, since apparently puppy chow is extremely high in fat, and I couldn't get the oil off of the darn internal bowl!

Frax has enjoyed a quiet day. Sunday we went again in search of the 'special foods' designated on the diet. He enjoyed going to a different grocery~ more new people to admire him. Have I mentioned he is vain? Lol. The only thing he hates about being admired~ he gets mistaken all the time for a girl! I don't really comprehend this issue....he's short haired, so it's not as though folks are completely in the dark about him being a boy dog! He also has a big masculine looking boy-dog face...but being part Lab, it's still soft and sweet looking, so folks might be forgiven for just looking at the face and thinking he is just a really big girl doggie.
Frax also is shedding less (go figure!) along with the light changing, the overnight temperatures are finally dropping a bit. It was good sleeping weather, mid-fifties. I'm spending the next few days airing Grandmother's quilts and fluffing up the bed in our bedroom. Frax absolutely loves cuddling into bed with us, just as Jet did. It helps as well with the bond needed for seizure-prediction. It's that whole pack thing, 'ya know! The Eskimo's counted the severity of a winter's night by how many pups needed to snuggle in with the family to keep comfortably warm. An early rock and roll band riffed on that and came up with the great band name 'Three Dog Night'! How's that for a flight of consciousness?
The crickets are singing and Frax is snuggling ever closer as I wind up my letter to you. Stay warm, stay safe

and snuggle up to your pup!
Later...
