When the world seems so unhappy and life is upside down, it's wonderful to share a bit of whimsy and wonder courtesy our four-footed angels and a creative couple that consider their dog Ryder their child.
A Nashville couple, Addie and Marshall Burnett's wedding last November 2nd was beautiful for all sorts of reasons...and one of the most unusual was that the wedding videographer was their darling of a dog, Siberian Husky Ryder. Ryder recorded the best bits of the ceremony on Roan Mountain, Tennessee while wearing a GoPro camera strapped to her back. Ryder even led the wedding party up the mountain. She also captured the magical first snow of the season.
The couple has “no regrets” about not having a professional videographer for the private ceremony, that took place three days after the couple eloped. The bride's favorite part was when Ryder saw her in her wedding finery in their mirror. The 2 minute long video is set to the tune “Spirit Cold” by the band Tall Heights.
Ryder took a bit of time editing the film, but no one is complaining. Understandable, since Ryder has no opposable thumbs! Ryder posted the film to u-tube where I'm sure it'll be a howling sucess! Frax and I are very proud of Ryder and her considerable talents.
Ryder's pup parent Marshall Burnett is a professional film-maker. When asked about whether they will turn to Ryder for her expertise with further film projects the happy couple is definite they will. After all, as Addie says, “Ryder is basically our child, we'll always plan on including her in everything.”
