A Strange Sound...!

Hello!

I was just lying here, typing away like usual, when I kept hearing this noise...Bill was in the living room and I called and asked if he was OK. Yup, no issues. I told him what I heard, and asked him if it could be on the TV. He seemed flummoxed as well. “No...that doesn't sound like what is on TV” he replied doubtfully.

I went on working, and the noise was getting louder! I couldn't imagine what was going on...then...I looked at where Frax curled around my feet like a cat, on the end of the bed. Snoring. Loudly. That's what I had heard! He must have been exceptionally tired after crunching on his favorite bone this evening. Lol.

Frax snores occasionally, and makes all the other puppy noises you would expect~ whimpers and tiny barks, yips and half grrrrrrrrrrrrs. Someone asked recently on a blog if dogs dreamed. Of course they do. They are sentient beings. Sentient beings dream. What do they dream about? Maybe the game of ball the other day and how much fun it was!

What about bad puppy dreams? I would expect those dreams would be about cats chasing him, or perhaps the Purina Dogfood Plant closing! Maybe a bad dream would be dinner served a half hour later than normal...

Most folks on the blog opine that their dogs dream, and vividly. One person described her dog's paddling feet on the bed, as he dreamed of the game of fetch they had enjoyed that day. There is an old video on utube that shows a little black dog lying asleep in a room. He begins to dream and paddle his feet. He paddles his feet so hard that he propels himself into the wall, knocking himself on the head and groggily waking up with a bemused expression on his face!

Frax has stopped snoring now. He's deeply asleep. A professional sleeper, Frax is. His favorite thing in the world is our bed~ that he lets us share....! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Later,

LV, JT & FX
