Hello!

Frax has 'a lot of hound in him somewhere' according to an elderly admirer. He is very hound-like acting. He loves his naps. He's also very generous with allowing us humans to share his bed in the master bedroom. It's rather tight, but Frax has plenty of rooom to stretch from one end of the Queen-size bed to the other!

Bill said perhaps he is an undiscovered ancient breed....that slept a lot. A whole lot! “What would it be called, this ancient snoozing canine? “Oh most definetely they would be called the “Lab/Lounger, Bill opined. I suggested that since Frax likes to 'talk' and occasionally bark, that we could call him a “Barkolounger”!!!!He, he, he!!!

Disgusted with both of us, Frax awakened rumpled-looking in his copious fur suit. It's permanent press, so he shook the wrinkles out, and with great dignity, then sprawled out the other way on the bed, taking up ¾ of it, Leaving Bill and I two small wedge-shaped areas to cling to the side of the mattress and enjoy.

Frax was dismayed when we shooed him off the bed completely, till we had fixed his “nest” of three blankets on top of the duvet. When we were settled in, then we allowed him up on the end of the bed. He was not amused. He thought it very rude, especially considering it's his bed!

A huge “HUUUURUMMPH!” blasted from his lips as he sighed loudly, and with a wrenching groan plopped on the end of the bed....then crawled stealthly between us, falling asleeep with his nose in my armpit, blowing warm air into said armpit all night! Who said he wasn't flexible? Eh?

Later...
