Sensational Dog Inspires A Wonderful Song About A Service Dog's Love

This is a wonderful song that Brendan Biondi wrote, filmed and sang for the pup Calvin, that he was training for a service dog agency. On iTunes you can buy it and every purchase goes to the service dog agency that he and Calvin are associated with.

I remember asking one of the trainers at Canine Assistants, where my dogs have come from...asking them "How can you do it~ spend all that time and love, then just 'poof!' handing the leash over to a person, and they go away..." They responded that it was an honor to train these astonishing canines, and an honor to help others that need the help."

Brendan's song captures the unconditional love and the attachment that happens between the trainer and the service dog....and taking that attachment then, transferring it to someone else. It must break their hearts. I know it would mine.

There's always those 'special' special canines. Jet was that to his trainer, I know. She loved all the dogs she trained, but Jet, well, he snuck into her heart, and subsequently when he became attached to me...snuck inside mine as well. The trainers at Canine Assistants call them "Forever Dogs." Not everyone who gets a service dog, even several times, will wind up with a 'Forever Dog'. They're so rare. They command a piece of your heart, and well, you are never the same~ but in a good way.

So here is Calvin, singing his song, and it embodies what a 'forever' canine feels for his person that he helps. It's an amazing feeling to be on the receiving end of such energy, love and passion! This song captures it all!
